Cheap & cheerful (used) chipper recommendations?....

We offer a Jo Beau 3" & 5" hydraulic chipper.

Hi thanks, the hydraulic auxiliary line on our mini digger is 200bar and 35 litres/min so doesn't look like it'll run either of those.

Cheers, steve

I was in search of a cheap chipper and ended up building my own. Lister hr2 engine and a

6" PTO chipper mounted on a 750 kg trailer chassi. It is a beast, it sends the chip flying 16 metres and it ended up costing me next to nothing.

Thanks pal, after all these years I'd never realised :-o ... If you worked with him you'd understand :-)

There is something inherently satisfying about taking a living tree and chopping it into a million tiny pieces... the satisfaction is heightened even more by the ironic fact that I am a member of the Green Party & take a keen dislike for any human being being 'greener than thou'.

However, when it comes to using chemicals (eg; Roundup) I am THE Mr Greener Than Thou.

I think the point of my question was that I would like to own my very own chipper. Unfortunately I've since learnt that chippers are way beyond my means so I won't be buying one, even the cheapest one.

Think I might hire one.

cheers, Steve
