The Toyota Hilux 3litre is available in the new hilux's Jon.... not sure when they were introduced? It's the D4D engine type Jon.... they are very reliable engines.

Our Corolla car has a 2.0litre D4D engine.... the only thing we've had to replace (apart from oil, tyres & cambelt) is the alternator. That's after 141,000 miles.

I'm tempted to get a hilux d4d one day.

cheers, steve

Great. I see the only downside of the Hilux is that it doesn't have the towing weights of a Land Rover.

cheers, Steve

I'm not sure if you can get them re-plated in the UK but we have added a few mods to ours which has turned it into a much more useful tool, we added 400kgs uprated Old man emu suspension to it and apparently

in Australia owners are able to get their trucks re-plated to carry and tow moreImageUploadedByArbtalk1451675976.491984.jpg.b7aca59c91cdd923b3c316d9e804b925.jpg
