Thats great! Got a 9010 from ebay, after 2 tanks of fuel it cut out and wont start. It doesn't feel nice to pull, i'm guessing engine damage

Hi Shavey,

It's time for me to buy a new saw, I have recently been using the works 261. I like the Husky 550 but I don't want all the reported problems.

Looking at the Dolmar 115 or the 5105 for general ground work and some tree work. Are those a good choice as I have not tried one, or would you suggest another model? :confused1::confused1:

Cheers, John.

You are right John those two models seem too be everybody's favourite choice

The 115 is the older design 52cc saw which is the more squarer design

The 5105 is the newer design 50cc both are suitable for 13"-18" bar .325 or 3/8

There is only one option of the 115

The 5105 comes in three styles

standard easy start

Easy start with heated handles

Non easy start narrow starter non heated handles

Thanks

Andrew

Thanks for the pictures Andrew,

Am I right in thinking the 5105C is the one with the easy start?

Could you quote me for a 15 or 16in, .325 with easy start please. :thumbup1:

Kind Regards, John.

That above saw in the photo is running a 15" .325 bar and chain and easy start

Price as follows £407+vat Delivery £10+vat

Thanks :thumbup::thumbdown:
