Aebi HC55 - Wiring?

I got a HC55 that seems to have electrical gremlins on that complicated forward/reverse control. It has been slightly wayward but we managed last year. Yesterday, I managed to get it moving, via wire wiggling, but it stopped. I cannot seem to get forward or reverse now.

Anyone got a Wiring diagram or hints on what to look out for? Anyone converted one to mechanical controls?

Right now, I want to get it back into the shed before it blows away!

Micro switches have a mechanical service life, something like 100000 actuation before they degrade. And an electrical life of say, 5ma for 5000 hours or something. Easy to test.

They are very good. 5 or 6 amp contacts in something that size is pretty amazing. Most of mine are subjected to high temperature, humidity up to 98%, vibration and the occasional hot bath. To be fair to the little beasts a big proportion of failures would be in the activation mechanism, dirt, dust etc, something for the OP to check.

You mean at the handlebar end? Tried the usual - clean, wipe, blow,WD 40 etc....wondered if anyone has affected a manual conversion?

Yes but remember I've no idea what the machine is. If you have micro switches pull a wire off and test with a meter. Contacts are hidden on the inside but the switches are as cheap as chips.
