Richmond Park - Isabella Plantation

 

This is where I am working at the moment....(above). Its a stunning place with some fantastic trees.

 

The photo's show a Beech which has engulfed an oak to the extent of grafting itself onto it. The Oak is now dead and is getting monolithed. The Beech is riddled.

 

Last few photo's show another weird old pollard....twisting and turning and looking for light.

Had a wee walk about today and didn't see any but who knows what will turn up in other areas. Will let you know If I do.
