8x5; hence less than 2 like that... oh very well somewhere between 1 and 4 !!

 

That's just a dram I did on saturday morning; got a mate running around 9-5, M-F with landy and 10x6 with mesh sides for me atm!

Think I'd better clarify; 12m3 NOT 24 in terms of actual timber i.e. 24 bags. Local terminology gone to my head a bit! Oooh Arr. Sorry folks

My 8x5 ifor tipper loaded like that one is approx 1.5m3. Am surprised if you've got almost 2m3 on there fella.

the volume of the truck and trailer,because no way on this earth is 2m3 of logs in any shape or form on a 8x5 tipper.:confused1:

timber cutter how are you advertising? i have an ad in the mid devon paper but had lots of calls the first week but nothing for two weeks, i know its early in the season but seeing this thread has got me wondering.

I think some of us are meaning / using volume occupied by split logs including air space NOT solid timber - should be obvious.
