We ask -55p per hedging stake.They are 5' long pointed 4 ways,tied up in bundles of 20.And one hedge layer complained that was to much money.

What diameter do you supply the stakes in and do most people tend to supply hazel? cheers, steve

In the picture to the left show me making hedging stakes. All are made from seasoned softwood.

I was going to use douglas as I have quite a bit around at the mo, there doesn't seem to be much interest in stakes around my way think I might be better off using it for firewood :001_smile:

Today the man I mentioned above came and bought 500 stakes,and said he wood be back for more. Whilst delivering logs today I came across a couple of blokes hedge laying they said they pay 60p per stake.
