is there a reason why everybody uses the pinto instead of the petzl fixe or the ISC micro pulley?

 

 

I use the petzl and pinto but I think the pinto had a higher rating also it looks good ;) and fits in nice and tidy with the dmm oval.

and nice soft rounded edges that are textile friendly:thumbup1: and a rock o can go thru the cheeks and also spin round over the body of the pulley which is handy for certain things

thanks for the advice!

 

got a pinto last week

tried it out on a tree, made a couple of redirects and tried to pull it out.

worked like a dream

 

only got a staircase pic to show....

 

i keep the eye on the alpine tight and clip the biner around the retrieval leg to keep things tidy
