:confused1:hi guys im after a new chipper, looking at spending 5-6000

has anyone dealt with alan masons before if so what do you think ?

he has x2 what interest me .

theres a jenson 6in (2002) and a bandit 6in (1992)

what would you all go for and why?

not an easy question to answer as it isnt best practice on here to talk about companies. you would be better putting pics of them up here and seeing what folk think of the chipper not the company selling them.:001_smile:

I know someone who bought a Kwick chop from Masons 6 years ago. Still runs it now. Another guy bought a Jensen a530 from masons 2 weeks ago, still runs it now. Better talking about makes of machine. A dealer only has what a dealer has, know what youre looking for and you cant really get Ripped-off anywhere.

the questions you really need to be asking the dealer is - how much waranty, what work have they done to the machine etc etc . i would want a decent waranty and an honest appraisal of the chipper that your looking to buy . also if your not sure what your loking at why not take someone along to have a look and demmo the machine before you buy ?

would like the bandit but have heard horror storys about the old ones
