What are most people using to connect your logging choker chain to a Tirfor cable?.... I'm after something that will quick release, like a sliding keyhole.... are most people using a sliding keyhole on the Tirfor cable, or does that tend to kink the cable?

cheers, steve

Get a chain lock thingy!

You get them on lifting chains for shortening them, the chain slides in sideways and locks.

Got to a place that sells chains, take your chocker and get 1 that fits and put a swivel locking hook on it.

I've never seen this but if you find something ease post it up here.

I tend to use a round sling on the hook.

Yeah, a sling works but not as easy to feed under a fallen tree as a choker chain.
