What contractor? I bought my county from a longleat contractor, and when I sold it again they hunted it down to buy it back.

He does have a County with a double drum winch on it. Ive put the cables up in a few trees for him.

Got to back Ed on this one, I can't imagine anything worse than a Unimog based skidder in the woods.

Weve built and run mog and mb trac based forwarders in the woods and they have all payed for themselves many times over.

This is what we have now, took a lot of time and effort to get it to be a stable, reliable and productive machine.
