I just find it amusing when somebody is basically calling anybody stupid who disagrees with their point of view and then makes basic grammatical errors when they do.Even more so when they stay on their intellectual high horse for a response and do it again. Basically, if you want to sneer at other people's opinions and intellects then don't leave yourself open.

We get child benefit as do all parents, we get 15 hours a week of child care given and we take it. I pay tax and I work hard so how is that hypocritical?

I don't claim to be an intellectual but think i have a reasonable amount of common sense, i just think anybody who believes that the Tory party have the best interests of the working man/woman at heart is just a tad delusional IMHO:001_smile:

So, it's ok for you to get/take state benefits, yet no one else should get them?

 

When I make these arguments I'm not trying to defend the feral, the feckless and the long term useless. I'm just pointing out that some folk aren't as lucky as you and me.

 

When There are hard working people struggling to make ends meet the system is wrong IMO.

It's not as cut and dried as that though is it, young lass I knew wanted to get knocked up so she didn't have to work and could get a house and money off the council, and she did, 4 kids different dads, Sky TVs, smokes, has a bloody car and goes to Spain on Holliday, now that's abusing the system and that's wrong. The system should be policed better to avoid these types getting benefit that others genuinely need.
