they both dot he same thing you jsut need ot decide if you value the extra comfort, speed and aesthetics of the newer ones. if you wont ever have to drive it far then you may as well get one of the older models.

I have p-reg and she is a stonker, I love my crew cab. I have ripped back seats out and ply lined the back with a partition shelf, saws under, ropes etc above, ply board covers back window and has hooks and stuff on it for hanging helmets, spare strops, krabs etc and fire extinguisher. Added more speakers and a decent headunit with auxillary output with a cable for my ipod. Took rear door handle off so if you are on a job and forget to push the handle in to lock it, you cant just walk up and open the "tool box" haha. In process of gobbing it and flushing over where handle was.:thumbup1: Can only be opened from inside. Suits me.

Good idea the handle . I remember your transit back project . It looks really good . What was the final colour .

Search for the thread "project transit". I dont have any of it finished yet, cos it aint and ive been busy, will sort some out in a little while, changed the roof section and everything, looks quite different now, for the better. She is a tank.
