Anyone else dabble in stocks and shares?

I'm not with you, are you saying if this woman burned her money on a fire, she could claim it all back?....

 

Um no if it was invested on her part through the courts and it made a loss it would be made up. If a deal was done behind closed doors and she was then taken for a ride tough luck.

Yea it sort of does in a way, and yet it doesn't...

 

If it was invested through the courts and made a loss.....

 

bit ambiguous that, in what sense is the loss in this regards?.. stolen, criminal negligence..

or just invested and the market tanked?...

If it was stolen or negligent a case would be pursued for loss through the criminal courts if it was invested poorly or the market collapsed the money would be reimbursed.

 

It's to protect people that have had serious injury through no fault of there own and need the money to provide on going care.

Oh I see, so its a win win situation in that case, gamble everything it don't matter as we'll subsidize your loss...

 

I don't like it at all... perhaps I should look into it myself, see if your not missing something.

It don't seem right to get to win twice over..
