Greedy boards

Hi guys,

I've got a ford ranger with a plastic load liner in the back. Currently have 3 sheets of ply to act as greedy boards if I need to carry chip, but doesn't look very professional. I want to build an aluminium box, but at same time want to be able to remove it and keep the load liner for logs etc. anyone done anything similar? How would you fix the frame through the load liner to the truck?

Cheers

I like the idea of permanently bolting the angle to the truck. Makes installing and removing so much quicker.

Seriously?

How much quicker? On and off looks like a 60 second job whatever way you do it

It can be done just as easily without having the exposed "user friendly" edge permanently bolted to the tub

The two rails act as a guide so the sides are instantly lined up with the fixing holes. Also gives a bit more metal to bolt the body too rather than it being straight into the tubs fairly thin steel.

The rails are actually "user friendly" all edges have been ground over before they were powder coated.
