I Have a huge amount of respect for the way this young man dealt with this situation .

that is real nasty a cant eat my dinner now lucky to only lose an arm.

in our local rag today was a story about a polish farm that felled a tree on him self got him self a nice spinal injury it says he was reliesed from hospital later that week. it happened a couple miles away from the boss's yard the police and hse were involved with the accident will be intresting to find out what comes of the matter and what action is taken.

Dont want to sound daft or mean but i would say operator error.Should never put yourself in a situation where you could be dragged in,its plain simple.

No push stick or no bigger branches then leave it in the hopper.

you really need to see the picture that accompanied the story.

 

the pic was of a really old vermeer (i think) with no safety bars what so ever
