Synthetic Winch rope on my Defender 130 winch.

Has anyone changed their wire winch cable over to synthetic winch rope? I have a Ramsey RE 12000 with cable on and was thinking of putting on 10mm winch rope. Not sure how much the winch will hold exactly if anyone has done this before advice would be great.

Call rufftracks in Glasgow they will give you all the information you need, very competitive on price and good service, all 3 of my winches run line off him 2x warrior 1200 s and the big boughton on the rb44.

We use it for vehicle recovery, assisting felling, general winching and dragging nothing too strenuous.

Changed my wire winch cable over to synthetic and it's so much better and easier to use. Highly recommend to do it
