Transporting greenmech cs100

Just wandering how everyone gets their cs100 (or similar wee chipper) to and from jobs? on the back of the truck, on a trailer etc etc.

I'm looking at buying one but don't really want to splash out and buy one of those specially built trailers for it.

Would it be too much to try and get it onto the back of the transit tipper?

 

Any ideas or pictures of peoples set ups would be great!

If its the wheeled one,it can be lifted on to the back of a tipper and lashed down.Ours broke after some cherry limbs give it a hiding and we didnt replace it.Is it the 18 hp model?

I converted a motorbike trailer for mine, works well

Yeah can be lifted on to a transit tipper

I've been using ramps and an electric remote winch to get it into a vivaro size van. Good set up for solo use.

I've got a 6'x4' trailer with tail ramp and mesh sides. CS100 fits inside nicely and gets lashed down to internal fixing points with ratchet straps. Also space for a couple of road signs, or a load of modest logs if you're into that.

 

The trailer is the largest size you can take into a domestic council recycling centre, so handy for small jobs, etc. if using a car rather than a truck.

 

Have also just had a 10'x5.5' trailer made. This will take the wee chipper sideways-on at one end, leaving space for almost two tonnes of arisings... Pretty useful.
