Planning Portal Applications not on council sites

Hi,

 

I've done loads of applications on the Planing Portal website, they say they have been received by the relevant council but do not show on the respective council websites.

Does the 6 week notice activate when I get that notice from planning portal. Can I go ahead at the 6 weeks notice, I presume so, I may be wrong

I often get a letter from the council saying they received my application/notification, but it is dated some days after I made the application via the planning portal. One particular council deems the 6 weeks starts when they get to my application/notification as the dates they use are not the same as when I sent the application. Not sure if this is right, fairly sure it isn't..

I email the app straight to the authority, get an automatic acknowledgement and the clock starts ticking.........

I don't think our local LA advertises either 211's or apps! Furthermore, I don't think the surrounding LAs do either.

It is presumed that you are talking about a 211 notice and not a TPO application?
