Carbon Fibre Mountain Bikes

Getting back into my fitness and really miss mountain biking, thinking on going carbon fibre, any one else here big into biking and what cf bike you got?

Mountain biking now ya talking I love it . Although my carbon fibre forks on my hybrid road bike crushed / snapped when i hit a sizable pot hole ?

It prompted me to swap them for a light alloy replacement . Side impact on a carbon fibre frame is not pretty .

must of been a big pothole, or you were doing some speed?

 

i can imagine the splinters when you smash a frame, don't fancy picking them out of my legs!

 

Now just need to decide, full sus or hard tail!
