MS200T doesn't switch off

Hi All any ideas please. Saw starts and runs as normal but when I switch back to "0" to turn it off the saw continues to run. I have to choke the saw to make it cut out. Then I have the ball ache of starting it again

I opened the handle thinking it meant the switch was just not breaking contact when switched off but it seems a bit backwards and looks like moving switch to "0" actually makes a circuit to kill the saw??

The saw does warm start with the switch in "0" position

cheers
