No need to modify. Pull out more sheet than you need and hold it up at the front. For me this means lapping over the cab and putting a log on it. chuck some logs in up front then lap the sheet back on itself over the logs and load the rest. Should stop it pulling through.

Been delivering today so took some pictures. It's not perfect and as you can see some get hung up behind the wheel arches but it beats handballing them all off. It got loaded all the way to the back but I had an assistant.

 

Paddy can't resist jumping in the truck even with logs being thrown in over him :001_smile:

Your side boards should cover the wheel arches, logs get caught behind them and hold back the ones behind them.

 

They could but then the top of the greedy boards would overhang the sides and reduce my load carrying capacity. Need to get 2 cube in there. It's not a big deal pulling some logs out anyway. When loaded with one cube can just mound them in the middle and get virtually all of them out in one hit.
