I thought it was a good idea! It will show whether or not the public is willing to support the british farmer and the extra should be going to the farmers

I wonder if the other supermarkets will follow suit, I think it will get Morrisons more custom.

Ditto. Would pay more than an extra 10p and all. Food is too cheap and frankly most of the crap people eat these days isn't even "food".

The biggest problem is most people don't care enough to try and find out what food is really produced in this country and those who do care find it hard to find this out from the confusing packaging. So this will, or should give the public a simple choice. Do you want to buy british and support the british farmer or do you want to buy anything from anywhere if it is cheap enough!

Hi DAN LOOK AT WHAT Sainsbury's do for the farmer they really do a lot look at some of the links if someone can put some up as I'm no good at it that be great thanks John

Or will they put up the price by 40p and only give the farmers 10p. In truth they have always screwed the producers and now they just using it for advertising

Agreed Jon. Sainsburys are the most ethical all round supermarket by far.
