Rails for my Alaskan mill

Hi nice rails if they had some legs on them you could roll a log onto them then jack up with a high lift jack and then you would not be on your knees milling when half way through the log , I have been trying to find time to make one myself for ages and I think rails like yours with legs on would be the way to go

I've never used an alaskan mill (yet) but it looked to me as if you could have done with more than one screw into the trunk through each support to limit the movement of the frame. I really like the idea though - very portable and didn't seem to show any lengthways flex

It was only on one of the supports I used only one screw the others I used two so I could level the rails.
