How about an industrial tractor, something like an MF40 with crankshaft driven pump on the front of the engine?

 

Hi mate there great old tractor or the older 203 loads flow rate there to as it runs the loader and rear digger great bit of kit of its time thanks John

PTO pumps are great, but the pump is just the start - Oil reservoir, breather, filter head and filter, pipework / fittings etc. and fabrication costs.

 

Can be almost the same cost to buy an old IH tractor, which is what I am looking to do. :thumbup1:

 

I bought an ex mod pto power pack for £90, and put it on a 35. Amazing speed at about 1000 rpm on the seed dial, so not even at 540 pto speed. And does not use much diesel:thumbup1:
