Attached are some pics of a ded tree which has to come down, the burr is about 7foot high and about 5foot wide approx. How much do you think it is worth and where do you think that I will get the best price for it.....ebay (its an auction site!) its in Aberdeenshire.:thumbup1:

The buyer at AJ Scott told me that he'd may £50 a cubic foot for the right log. It needs to have a good shape and be burry right through. I haven't found one yet.

Yours woukd be good for tyurning though, ask the tirner to tell you how he wants it cut up. Some one might want a slab.

It'll be me felling it tom.Thought of ajs but they'll only take it if they're up this way and they're not very often.But i think they might make an exception for this one.Think if i remember stevie she is boss in the middle,it's been condemed for a couple of years,that'll be the reason.
