Well I know they're cutting that in the area but I thought rhody had smooth dark bark. I could be completely wrong though lol

Think it changes with age to more of a kinda speckled rough bark as per the photo.

PHEW...cheers guys.

 

trouble is when the most I see of greenery these days is out of the office window it rapidly becomes a case of "lose it...by not using it!"

 

Ident used to be a really strong point of mine, now, not so much so....anyway back to PUWER Reg. 9 sect. ii :biggrin:

yes mick, you've been calling calling cherry laurel rhody.

 

cherry laurel is usually white to cream whereas the rhody i've turned is straw yellow.

 

rhody shrink really badly...
