How often do others change their Processor ?

Our Processor is 3 years old and Wilson's are offering a good deal to upgrade to a new 360.

I was not keen to get to the stage of spending money on a depreciating machine, as up to now it has had a clean bill of health.

Do most of you re-new your processor after 3 years? Any replies appreciated.

Wilsons gave me a good px for my Farmi woodworks. I contemplated the duun, tajfun and a few others but went with a posch in the end after seeing one working!

Happy to hear you support the brand!

Since the day I bought the Posch I have not spent a penny on it - its been a dream of a machine! It's still basically as good as new.

I am surprised at the very low depreciation and it is still a very attractive machine for anyone.

Going to get the screen to add to conveyer this time round until we fabricate a decent tumbler :thumbup1:

had the posch 3200 for 8 years now it is limited by the small size it can handle 13" but other than a pin hole in the splitter ram it's only needed belts and sharpening and a bit of modification when we bent the conveyor because we needed it to work at quite a steep angle in the past.

That's impressive! The 3200 is a nice machine.

A 360 is not that larger capacity of course.

In future I only plan to buy only from those who supply the exact timber I want ; You look after me and I'll look after you scenario! :thumbup1:

Contemplating this myself. If I keep the Farmi it wants a bit of touching up here and there or trade in and lose a pile of cash. Suspect the depreciation on your Posch is pretty low though.

These days it appears that many like to see you roll up with nice shiny gear - another reason for changing the machine ?

wish you luck on that, we gave up trying to buy processor sized stuff for this year and just concentrating on splitting down all the oversize that's been kicking around the yard and see what's available this winter for next season.
