Mate of mine ( BA pilot ) was a keen track day bike rider , as was I . He had a near " high side " but saved it and came down hard on the tank bashing his plumbs . After a week or so one was swollen still so he went to the doc . Doc sent him strait to a specialist and yes he had the big C in it . Would never have known early on if not for the near high sid on his bike . I have to say he has the all clear now and back flying and riding !

Guy I know whos in his early 70's, very fit, slim, never stops, went for a medical. They did all the normal checks, gave him the all clear and sent him home. When he got home his wife asked if they had done a PSA test, they had said that because he had no symptoms there was no point doing the test, his wife was very annoyed and told him in no uncertain terms to get his arse back there and insist on the test, he did, the result of the test was 115!!!!!!!!!!!!! it should be under 10 and ideally 2or3. They checked the test again as it seemed unbelievable, but no it was correct!!!

Anyway long story short he was given pills (chemical castration) and radiation treatment to burn out his prostate and has made a full recovery and been given the all clear!!!:thumbup1:

WARNING Dont read this if your just about to have your tea.....................................................

Had a stump grinder break down on me a few weeks ago, i had one last stump to get out or not get paid, so i dug it out, by hand, much bigger than you would normally attempt, and i really strained on it, got it out and more importantly got paid, got back later had a shower, when washing my arshole i found a lump, felt like a small grape, anyway, googled it after standing over a mirrow and diagnosed it as piles, the hard day plus my age, anyway is gone now, so just try not to overdo things as much. Carry on eating now. :001_smile:
