My 560 will never start using the decomp. Other than than it starts fine.

 

Yep no need for the decomp . Pump the primer 5 times up with the choke pull til it sounds like it nearly catches ( usually 1st or 2nd pull) push the choke right down and release then 1 or 2 pulls and bingo. That's sounds about right to you pink foot ?

Pretty much.

Primer bulb until I feel pressure , about 5 pumps. Choke out till it fires , lever to fast idle and away she goes .

Hot start. Just pull her over provided primer bulb is engorged. ( sorry , got a bit carried away there).

And away she goes.
