Collect the excrement as you find it, consolidate in several layers of paper bag and save. After payment has been received, wait a few days then when the opportunity presents use your Big Shot to fire it back onto their property, at the house or car, if possible.....

OR.

Stipulate in the contract a surcharge of £20 for every turd trodden on or log-squashed in the course of the work.

If someone knows your coming and can't even be bothered to clean there dog crap up then they don't think much of you. Not my type of Cliant.

Nail on the head there matey . I cleaned a garden up once only to find I still got crap on my rope halfway up a decent sized pop . Now when I quote I ask that the garden is free from dog mess a few days before work starts . Still you always get the odd few who try to clear up on the morning of the job ? So I just drop onto another job . I haven't the time patience or will to educate people with deaf ears . They know its wrong ...

Bosses how are you tackling the problem of heavily pooped gardens? I went to a big garden today and it was choka not a square metre clear!

I find customers vary some understand and clear it up others can get very put out and defensive when requested to clear it up.

With work getting tighter and social media so popular etc I find it a tricky one. But I still refuse to get covered in carp for any amount of money, and I certainly wouldn't expect employees to work in situations that I wouldn't work in.

Views please

I ask the customer to clear it up unless it's 1 or 2 here or there and then I'll shovel it up and put it next to there nicest flowers.

I wouldn't expect anyone to have to work in it.
