hi ihave a 350 and is a fantastic machine only one problem you cant sell the firewood fast enough 2 people can produce 50 ton sacks a day average 7 to 8 inch material I have put 700 tons through my machine no problems at all they will make a machine 50percent faster but only so much you can sell but the 350 looked after will last for years cheers philip:thumbup1:

Tractor at 480 rpm.

 

At best a 360 will produce 35m3 / 10 hours with Softwood 2 men.

 

I man/machine loading, taking away, crosscutting/splitting oversize.

 

Hardwood can take double or 2 1/2 times that time on an average load of Woodland thinnings.

 

Processing bars and you will definately not sell the amount it will process.

 

I don't like like chunky great logs that over 300mm diameter roundwood produces, so avoid processing over that.

Woodland thinnings, hardwood 250 - 300 mm, no oversize, 1 man on his own including handling and maintenance - 4m3 / hr once proficient

Its the customers old JCB 3cx, in need of TLC, breathing very heavy

My dad was diagnosed with polymyalgia (pain in many muscles)

 

so adapting the handle has worked wonders for him and makes the farmi a pretty fast machine to use.
