Hi All, I've found a TeCe 720 chipper for sale. I've never come across one before and cant find out much about it so any info about the pros and cons would be great.

Its a 10" machine with 2 vertical feed rollers which I've never seen. Also the feed funnel is 90 degrees to the towbar ie pointing toward the Kerb. I've also been told its an American machine. If this helps anyone ID it :)

Cheers, James

Not American, its Danish. They are usually badged as NHS, and used to be sold by alpha plant. They are well built, but heavy, and are a simple copy of the TP230 / 08 Gandini / Ducker 8 chippers.

Good machine!!

But as you say heavy.

7 inch not 10, well the ones I used.

Thanks for the info gents. Never used a side mounted chute before, ie pointing at kerb, but i guess once you're used to it it'll be like any other. Think I'll probably end up buying it as its a good price. Didnt feel that heavy but no plate on drawbar so dont know for certain how heavy it is :)

the hopper at the pavemant is fine, but you will end up stuck for working on tight driveways or up the side of a house. and you always chip over the pathway. i would rather stack on the rd and keep the pavement clear as much as possible when chipping. but if the price is right. my first chipper was cheap, an arbor eater with turn table. it was as heavy as hell, but did the job. if i knew what i know now i would of just bought a newer one, as breakdowns and weight were a pain. it was meant to be 6 inch but 4" and it was doing well.
