Morning all. What sort of long lengths of sheeting do you guys use to catch the arisings & from where do you get it? I thought hessian as it might dry quicker if wet.

any old sheets, curtains and material i can get hold of, elasticated fitted sheets are good for going over shrubs. recently bought a 20m roll of curtain material on the boot sale for £5. if they get wet i hang them out to dry. plastic tarp is too light, slightest breeze and it's a brick on each corner!

Thanks, damp membrane sounds good. Blowers great until theres pea gravel.

 

commercial hedge cutting on roads I use billy goat vac and stihl 600 backpack. For the smaller domestic stuff 20 quid tarp from Argos. :001_smile:
