Carlton 130 belt.

Where the best place to get a new belt for my Carlton 130?

 

Its a twin belt, tried Bearing factors but they say its special

I use Bearing boys, they will get stuff to order if it's not on their website. Can't guarantee they can get yours but it's worth a try.

Bearing factors measured it up and looked in their catalog but could not match it.

 

Apparently there are no meaningful reference numbers on it

Is that the toothed 'polybelt' Huck?

I'm thinking about taking ours off and taking it to a national bearing and belt supplier we use to try and get a spare before it every goes.

Vital Arbre a friendly competitor to us have just replaced theirs for a mere 800euros which caused me to ramp up my grinding prices again in anticipation...BLEH!

No, its like two plain V-belts stuck together, but apparently they are not a standard V profile, their deeper.

Ah, I know those, the HB20 had a triple belt which baffled our suppliers when it eventually shredded itself.

The engineers told me to try using 3 individual belts (a fraction of the price of buying one from Bandit I may add)

Works perfectly well no loss of power or slippage.
