Agreed,but you can hire the digger auger @ £80 a day, you can dig a lot of holes in a day and go home without a bad back,elbows etc

Yes, I forgot about hiring, I use my digger and auger everyday so I found the investent easily paid off. You can get augers mounted on a trolley type thing, never used one but could be a good bit of kit and only a grand or two I think
