Looks nice and neat. Did you put anything in the eye to help it stay open?

Good work, I'd recommend whipping and lock stitching the splices, I did some for my block and lowering device, one of them almost pulled out as the tenex tends to get caught on rough bark and pull strands. They won't do it under load but can when being retrieved etc.
