  5. Based In Adelaide , South Aussie. I got permeant residency here so can come back no worries , in fact we will have to come back for a short while as my Mrs as to finish her veterinary degree , but back home to london for now get the little ones to know their family. Will likely have to return in a year or two !

After 6 years of living in Australia and New Zealand , i'm returning back to the mother land and i can say i'm excited !! i see posts on social media of snow and everyone cold and freezing ! and i say yes !!. After working in summers on 40 + , i welcome the cold !! . Im heading back to school when i get home to do my lv 6 which i'm looking forward to , i left as a single man and im bringing back a Mrs , 2 children and a dog !! London here we come !!!!
  10. Hi all , Question for consultants out there , if any of you are using products such as Picus or IML, what are your thoughts, pros or cons ? As with most equipment is the arb world they can be rather expensive , apart from excellent knowledge and experience what is a consultants go to tool when dealing with decay investigation?
  11. I spent two weeks clearing out a river , it was under a regeneration programme so the money was coming from a government budget rather then the local authority or water agency lots of lovely dead logs winched out plus a few bikes 10 shopping trollies and a lorry full of old shoes.

Question , at what age do you become an older climber ..? and I've adopted gadgets and gizmos along the ways , SRT for access and snap out in pines also take the time to set up and do something right once then struggle doing it 3/4 times. Good work positioning always make sure i can see what I'm cutting , and really dig those spikes in when I'm blocking down no slippy slippy ! Take better care of my kit too wash my ropes now and again they last loneger
  13. Well I'm not sure but i normally receive what feels like a shock after a lot of rope has passed through my hands and i touch the main trunk. I will leave it as a life mystery

  16. its the tip of fingers that a little tickle not every time maybe 1 out every 10 time i might to have a rope run through my hands quickly but only when I'm climbing

  19. :thumbup1:Line clearance companies have put them to test in Australia already however they let it loose in the hands of climbers ( Who's job it was meant to replace ) somehow they all broke down......
  20. Well i've applied for Myerscough and Bangor so will see what happens got a young family and still full time work but just keep my head down and get it done.
