Have a look at the krpan 9.5t it has 100m of 13mm cable in it. That uniforest cable system looks really good. You will need to get all the blocks lift tree crossings and I'd expect a turfor or two to tension the line. Also you'll need a carage for it too. I guess the main winch line is haul back so you need to be steep enough gravity feed the carnage.

Thanks for that I think marshals sell them. Will get some prices. The uni forest seem very competitively priced though think it may take some beating. Mendi would I be right in saying if I put a pulley at 50m at head height or above it would add to the pulling capabilities

Hi TREES SO you have 100mt on winch yes then only go out 50mt then snatch block at 50mt interesting but you're only going to be about half the max pull of the winch yes no thanks Jon

I don't know if you're aware but the Tajfun range through Kilworth has now got a 10.5 tonne unit and this will come with 125metres of 15mm if required. That's a fair chunk of rope and winch to be honest, and I'm absolutely delighted with my Tajfun 6.5 tonne purchase, mainly chosen for having two PTO input shafts, hence no hassle to fit either end of a tractor.

Whatever you choose go Radio Remote and powered upper pulley, it's simply a transformation!

Thanks for posting up that Uniforest mini skyline, it is exactly What I have been looking for, without the hassle of doing it myself.

Top of my wish list now!

Eddie.
