It takes a second or two and comes as second nature after a while.

 

Thing is it takes less than a second to do something stupid and pay with your life.

 

Incompetent is prob a bit harsh especially for the guy who had 20+ years experience. From some of the photos of jobs he had done alot of us would be very hard pushed to beat him.

 

He is also still alive as far as I know.:001_smile:

That morning he may have had a letter for house repossession, his brother broke the news that he was gay, his auntie left all her 1 million pound estate to her gerbil and his wife had left him. :001_smile:

 

There's always something that may distract us from a life dependant discision

i had one of those today dean. it was at the pic n mix at the cinema, red snakey or blue snakey. so i went for both. then i had to choose between g-force and monsters in the attic, finally after about 4 seconds i went for g-force. then did i want the special seats or the normal seats, normal did us just fine in the end. it was a tuff old day in paradise for me mate:001_cool:

There are some on here that didn't believe me when I told them I check my system after each and every change over and check my rope below my hitch each time I descend incase it's cut. I anchor on, follow one side of the rope up with my eye, over the branch and check it's back into the same crab. Check the friction is there then carry on.

 

It takes a second or two and comes as second nature after a while.

 

Being able to fly up a tree and tap bells against the clock is not what I call good climbing :001_smile:
