Depends how much you need it , I run a hobbs type device and find it more than adequate for pretensioning and lifting when needed ,the stein looks good I've only seen it briefly working with reg's demo's at the APF and its lifting ability was impressive ,it was fast lifting on short lifts and imagine would do the job of pretensioning well but obviously it's sacrificed by having to reset the pull on long lifts... Grcs is the Rolls Royce and comes with the price tag.

Carbon geckos for me, never tried the kiwis though.
