As you pointed out there would be no human race if we hadn't eaten meat!

Gorillas just eat random fruit and leaves but they'd destroy you in a hand to hand fight, rip you limb from limb they would. - not bad for a veggie, aye. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it roller!

By the way, I aint a veggie but I sometimes wish I was as the meat these days is mysterious, nobody knows where it came from or what they put in it.

ps if you want any more veggie animals that would kick your erse, just let me know and i'll post a list.

I know wats in my meat i rear my own and get venison from a local deer farm,Which for the record i shoot and cook my self for my own consumption.

And it tastes great.

THIS IS MY OPPINION AND NOT INTENDED TO OFFEND

Ditto. My freezer is full of completely hand reared Beef, Pork and lamb. We pay £10 for a free range chicken when we want it.

We are going into rearing our own pigs and lamb this spring.

Since Chimps are a closer relation to us than Gorillas a study of their dietary habits would tell us more.

You could deduce from this that as primates become more socially developed, then meat (protein) becomes more important in the diet; as it is, this study concludes that that is part of the social ritual.
