Finally got around to doing something about these lights and got some like these Pair 12V LED Rear Tail Stop Light Indicator Lamp Truck Trailer Lorry Van Caravan | eBay

 

I don't know if I have done something wrong wiring wise but the light output is pathetic. Resistors were mentioned in this thread and I have not yet added one but would they effect the light output or have I just bought some duff lights?
