Deafening ;) .... Really I don't think they are that bad compared to some exhaust mods heard but you can tell it's been done , but the typical 560 loud high pitch note in the high revs almost stays the same I think.

Performance wise how much of a difference does this mod make? Is it noticeable?

noticeable in what respect? details please :). and random but what bar length would you say is thee best match for a 560? im running a 15" bar as im only using it for snedding and small tree felling and its as rapid as usain bolt however the trees im coming across are getting a little bigger im ok boring in rom both sides with a 15" just wondring if it will be any less guttsy with a bigger bar

I am running an 18" driven by an 8 pin sprocket . It pulls it ok but you do sacrifice a little torque but not much . Cuts faster if you dont lean on it too heavy .

Mine runs 18" bar with 9t .325, still outcuts stock with ease

Ok...Ive been avoiding asking anymore questions cos Im starting to look like I dont know what Im talking about ;-)

But lets just go for it....

Right...baffles...where might I find these and when I do what shall I do to them ...Im guessing its the inside of the exhaust and I need to remove, by drilling, to allow better airflow ?

The exit pipe...again just drill a hole as in the picture in the previous post ...and weld a tidy finish on it ?

If you remove enough baffle you dont nessaserily need to fit another exit pipe ( although it looks good if you do ) you can just open out the existing one with a dremel . So first job ....remove the spark arrester screen and put it in a draw . ( some sites insist on one being fitted ) and get cutting/drilling/welding etc etc ...:001_smile:
