I think choice of boots has a big effect on comfort when using spikes.

 

I'll go along with that and stubby with the zermatts are the best spike boots.

Im wearing Arb pro boots after years on pfanners and they kill my feet by the afternoon.

The stein ones are nice I've got a few pairs, it's not all about the spikes though, I think choice of boots has a big effect on comfort when using spikes.

 

I'd agree with that, I use the red meindl's with distel's are find them fine for a days climbing

I have some bog standard spikes at the moment and find them uncomfortable from time to time and didn't know which ones to go for next. any reviews would be helpful
