A holiday maker took his disco 4 up into the woods and got stuck in a ditch. Local agent for aa etc asked me to pop up in tractor with him and pull him out.

We arrived with chain, strops and shackles. Got non stop threats of suing us if I put a scratch on the motor or damaged it pulling it out. Now considering he's wedged it against a couple of trees and a boulder we packed up the gear and left him still shouting abuse.

Gather it was there for another 24 hours until it was dragged out rather unceremoniously by another outfit. Saw it on the back of the truck not straight on any direction.

He was trespassing, stuffed his motor into ditch at speed but then its someone else's fault if any damage occurs removing it?!

These folk live amongst us!

HI MATE IF THE OWNER SAID HE WILL SUE YOU THEN IT WILL LEAVE THERE IN THE WOOD TAKE IT OR LEAVE :001_rolleyes:THANKS JON

Friend of mine had a few visits from flytippers on one of his fields, one day he came across an empty trainee pick up which was stuck, but no driver. He phoned the police and they said if its on private land there is nothing they can do. When he said I am going home to get my jcb and smash it to bits, they said we will have to arrest you then.???

by driving a vehicle over the ground he has caused damage, grass is a valuable crop, and you can force the police to press charges

I agree, in most cases of intentional trespass damage or theft is very likely to take place. An old dear and her dog looking confused I could overlook as she would probably be lost!!
