I don't understand you Woodworks :confused1: We're not under a Labour government, we've under a Conservative led government for the past five years. Or are you thinking that the NHS would be better without the Lib Dem involvement?

Changing the running of a monster like the NHS is like turning a supertanker, very very slow. I don't like how it is now but what the hell was the government to supposed to do? Plow in loads more money that we don't have? They have to struggle through until this country gets it's head above water and then bolster the NHS coffers. You can't spend what we don't have.

As the 6th richest country on the planet, that does not bode well:blushing:

I fear you may have rose-tinted Tory spectacles Woodworks

Don't forget the letter from 100 leading doctors that accusses this government of 'withering away' the NHS. My personal view is that the Tories don't actually care - after all, they'll be using private health care. We're all in it together:sneaky2:

Yes why are they not paying it back now the country's on the up

Its called 'trickle up economics' i.e. privatise the profits, socialise the losses. it's not logical, more ideological:lol:

hi TCD I Understand exactly what your saying. Some think they are doing a great job by quickly dealing with patients needs and then there are those that make sure they give patients all the attention they need.

I like thinking my tax goes to pay for nhs but the thought of lining the pockets of the idiots that dreamed up the banking crisis really gets on my hooters.
