Matty, have a look in the tank to see if there is fuel, do this with a giant flaming torch and if it accidentally catches fire, phone the insurance oh and then the fire brigade:biggrin:

It crossed my mind... Thing is when it's running its same as usual spot on... I think scott may have the solution.

you can hot wire the pump solenoid to make sure its opening, it will click and stay open, as there may be a break in the live feed from the ignition to it, so works some times and not others.

Is that a kobota engine?

Had your mate Jonnie round here saying his saw wasn't oiling, found the tank was bone dry........after stripping the oil pump:001_rolleyes: I was convinced you had sent him round:lol:
