hi all im looking for some advice.

I have a small amount of cash set aside for training and am not sure what to spend it on. I want to do my climbing tickets but I also want to do big trees and windblown. I will be doing them all at some point but i need to prioritize right now which will make me the most money in the least amount of time. I have heard all the usual follow your heart and do what makes you happy but i enjoy being in the woods knocking sticks over as much as I enjoy working in gardens

:001_smile:

thanks

Thank you I had never considered cs50 is this any different to cs 34 and 35 windblown trees I'm just trying to justify my expenses a little as getting 38/39 and the kit to go with it is about 3k by the time I have payed more in insurance whereas I have all the kit for windblown and big trees I know I've got to spend it to earn it tho so aslong as i can get enough days work it will pay for itself.

Anyone want to offer me a few days work with damaged trees and a few days with a climbing team so I can get more of a feel for wich I prefer

30,31,38,39 is all you need, the rest is just experience and aptitude, no one can teach you to be proficient at rigging, dismantling etc etc

Quite true but more qualifications is good for the CV and being taught right in the first place cuts out bad habits and gives more confidence to a climber. We see that with our guys. From a recruitment point of view you can ask for more ££££ with more tickets
