Gray git, i looked it up the stock boards, they seem fantastic, but i must stop spending and bring some money in, feels like this have been a sink hole in the bank account so far. I consider it for later when i done few months of grinding.

I have the safety screens they seem to work quite good, and wood boards i can drive the machine on so my footprint is very light.

I aim to leave the garden in a better state then i arrived.

The Flexible to mold to ground contours for sure must be a winner, i will find a trader and see them, have a look on the weight if i can easy lift them.

I'm absolutely dying to get out and work with the machine i'm feeling as i'm suffering from inside sitting here when i could be out grinding ! And today the daylight was just to short. Was so much more i could have had done, was gonna ask the wife to hold a flashlight for me so i could carry on but i know the answer to that one !

Jesse, that looks fab !! i heard that machine is great, and you can access everywhere. Same with your truck it will go anywhere, very smart setup indeed. Is that a Kohler engine on that machine ?

Thats the only downfall if there is one.... wish it was diesel, i have had predator grinders but with lots of faults , i am also considering the carlton 5014, think its worth a punt, forget p50 and other hydraulic powered grinders , just look at how the power drops on dull teeth or wet ground, for me its all about reliability , and grind productivity, the Jo Beau working on reds, pocket teeth is as all inspiring as a compact grinder can be, i mostly do clients with money , in very tight locations, ( no trailer access ) so the set up works great, this is it folded on the landy, sorry cant show you all the tools as its a secret :001_rolleyes:

Clients with money is the way to go, professionals have a better understanding for profit. I was almost buying the carlton 5014, was very near buying it. This might sound picky but i stepped back due to the look on the remote and the fact it wont go where the predator will go. I think the carlton would grind faster compared to the Predator with it's 44 hp i think, and mine is 38 hp. Was looking in to the Predator 50 and 75 aswell, but they seemed a bit big, perhaps for a later date. I had in my mind i will do mostly private work in rich areas, i have done a tree surgery company before and i had my favorite places back then, so i hope the grinding will work in this areas.

But i must say your setup looks very professional, tidy and clean.

Yep, you are bang tidy with your thinking hp is not everything, weight of machine very important, length too, how it cuts and how easy to replenish an edge is very important, one turn is great, but understanding teeth where is also very important, to all those who are now thinking what a twit, not really, there is good money made on stumps, go suck your thumb . i think the big revolution in grinding will not come from a grinder but from Green wheel, but very dependent on hp.

Should of also said, my set up, landy- grinder brings in the vast majority of work, every place i go folk ring me and say ' i seen your tuck........' god bless Landrover and Jo Beau and all who sail on them  i did hear there was a man who sells Bandits on her who sells Jo Beau. :thumbup1:

I have a stationary diamond wheel grinder, and a hand held grinder that i will put a stone wheel on for grinding the teeth, have not tryed the diamond wheel grinder yet tho, i think it will work fine if i modify it a little.

I'm feeling quite exited entering the Stump grinding community and see how i will do in this adventure, i feel this line of work will suit me just fine.

This Multi tip seems to work very good, but then again i haven't really much to compare with other then the machines i hired when i had tree surgery company, and they was not the same, they broke off all the time.

I seen the Green wheel and it reminds a little of the multi cut system, the wheel is not round if you say, reason i use the multi cut is also the cost to change teeth. Some of this machines that got teeth on the sides of the wheel it is a arm and a leg to change teeth on them. and takes time to change, and takes time to sharpen them.. Multi cut teeth is quite big, i get a steady grip holding it and can sharpen it fast. Taking the teeth out the pocket is fast aswell.

You wont like this... that multi tip system is too aggressive for your machine and its belt and clutch. The green wheel is only one concept i think is good in principle. My system uses Green teeth 700 Reds , it works fantastic on mine, if i was you you should consider.... cant find them but its a company who run you grinder with a different wheel and i think green teeth 900 pocket teeth,on a wheel which they make. Its the dogs B.
